I absolutely love this book. Not only does it provide a comprehensive overview of the different types of stress, it goes into great detail about how to mitigate the negative effects of stress including specific exercises and healthy habits that anyone can practice and see relief right away. As a workaholic and recovering perfectionist, this book actually made me feel better just by reading it! Sarah O'Flaherty offers insights that we don't talk about but we all know are true, a wonderful gift I found quite helpful. Very well-written for the everyday person, but clearly backed up by her academic credentials and practical experience. I highly recommend this book - it is absolutely worth the time it takes to read it, which isn't very long. And for me, that makes it even better. I can't wait for her next book.
